...Silence.
Many comtemplate this. Others seek it out. Still more do all that they can from facing it. However only those who have fought can know the truth of silence...
Tempest: No matter how hard you try, you can never find a truly silent place.
The ninja had, going on for several days now spent all his time in a simulation capsule in a mix of training sessions and deep meditation. Several passersby had actually been watching his virtual exploits on nearby moniters...
"Man how long's he been IN there!?"
"By my count 9 days, 12 hours, 603 minutes and damn if I know the seconds. This guy gives "slient" a whole new meaning."
Another walked in, carrying food and drinks for the other two.
"He move yet?"
"Nah. Just still chanting and sitting..."
"Which by the way, also bugs me. How the hell can he be focused there of all places?"
The location they spoke of is the intersection of a busy and, I do mean busy street. Cars blare their sirens and horns nonstop and for the last three hours now a small bar fight has been raging between three college boys and what can only be described as an oddly spry grandmother, whom it would appear learned a few martial arts in her day.
Tempest:....
The quiet reploid was sitting in lotus position atop the bar in question, several of the virtual people climbing onto the roof and checking up on him.
Kid:.... Hey Mister are you dead?
Tempest:...
Man: I think he might be deaf.
Kid: *inhaling* HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY MISTER! ARE YOU DEAD!?
Tempest: If I can maintain focus in the most hectic of enviroments, everyday movements and conversation would be of no effort...
And go ma'am.
Frat Boy 1: HOW THE HELL IS GRANNY KICKING OUR ASSES!?
Lady: Like this you hoodlum! HIYAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Tempest: Which reminds me, I'll have to speak with Blaze about this simulation I had him make. I'll admit, I asked for distractions and noise and he went above and beyond... I just hope that girl...Rain shows up soon. She said she wanted to spar and it's been hours since she was to show...

"Wow, you were part of Zero Unit?" Rain asked cheerfully, surprised. No wonder he was the legend he sorta became. Being in that unit was, well... prestigious.
But, then, something beeped on her wrist; raising her arm to eye-level, she pressed a button where the beeping was occurring, a holographic display popping up. Rain's eyes went wide, as "Aww, crap, forgot to meet Tempest..." Off the seat she bounced, heading quickly to the exit. "I'll see you soon, Strike, take care!"
And out the door she ran. She didn't like being late to things, but she WAS slightly forgetful sometimes... a hand reached to a communications device, sending off a tightbeam transmission to Tempest. "Sorry, sorry, on my way there now, gimme a few moments!"

Tempest: *smirk* Ah. Well then... Opening his eyes and standing up, Tempest mentally commanded the simulation to switch, from the scene witnessed to a simple field of grass. A warm sunny day greeted the reploid's eyes as he stretched. Tempest: Why this girl wants to spar with me, I don't know. That whole meeting was odd... /flashback Tempest:.... As he was prone to do as many who knew him, Tempest was meditating outside of his room, taking in and greeting everyone who passed him by. : Hey. Tempest:... : Hello? Tempest: *opening his eyes* Yes. Can I help you? The reploid looked up at a girl looking down on him. From looks she had some metal in her but she had organics also. A cyborg. Tempest: I have heard of you....Rain was it? Rain: Um yeah. And you're Tempest right? I've been looking for you. Tempest:....I see. What do you require? Rain: ? Um I just wanted to know if you would spar with me. I hear you're pretty good with stealth and I want to test my skills finding hidden opponents. Tempest:...Very well. Meet me in the simulators in about an hour. /end flashback. Tempest:...No one talks about me, mainly since I rarely talk back. The only two I can think of would be either Blaze or Sok. The reploid sighed and sent a reply back to the speeding Rain. Tempest: No worries. Take your time and don't rush, it breaks focus.

"I know, just... ugh. Anyways-"
The door to the training room slides open. Rain slows down to a walk, breathing slower, calming herself down. Her jacket and jeans are taken off easily, allowing her to be in just her robotic body since otherwise she can't interface with the digital system - the connection ports are in her back. Slipping into a seat, she let out a sigh, before her entire consciousness wound up being in a digital city.
Eyes glanced to Tempest, not far off. "Hey!" She calls out to announce her arrival, two white, cylindrical objects in her hands. Her daggers, powered off.

Tempest smiled and bowed.
Tempest: *waving* Hello.
Suddenly Rain would see Tempest simply vanish. No sounds, nothing for a few seconds before he reappeared in front of her.
Tempest: Now perhaps you can tell me exactly what you need to practice.

"Hmm, keeping things quite is in my protocol core, in fact that's what I was built to do, now as to Neo Arcadia, they'll know sooner than later I'm afraid. Our good friend who's recently returned has no ability seemingly what so ever to stay low profile," Specter said as the lift doors opened. He stepped off the elevator and began walking down the hall...
On these levels, being more inhabited and use regularly, the walls had stripes of various colors to guide the directionally impaired to the major facilities here on base. He picked out the red stripe on the wall and began following it, as it would lead to the Control Center.
"So I take it you two are on loan from our good friends in Moscow," Specter asked as he continued on. "Guess even they can't go on with such a threat around."
The control room doors visible to Specter as he rounded the corner to the right.

"Not much, just could use a general spar against someone. I heard you were pretty quick, so I could use a little practice with someone who is..." Rain replied, the twin daggers igniting backwards. "...you ready?"

Quietly regaining his balance after Blaze had knocked into him, Sokuren turned back to the Golem and disconnected the memory core of the mechaniloid, keeping an ear to the conversation. After disconnecting the core he got back to the ground, and started to walk out of the Hangar, calling out to Blaze on the way out "The guys at the Simulators said that they wanted an intact core for training simulations, I'm taking this one down now. Pull me up on Comm if you need anything else." With that, he starts heading down the halls towards the simulation room

"Hey, Cinny. Make sure the guys in R & D have my armor done. I'm going to get a nap here."
Strike leans against the wall of the training room, then closes his eyes, going into shutdown mode.

G1 chuckled to himself lightly as he listened to Specter, "Truthfully, the exact opposite is true. We've come here hoping some of you guys could be loaned to us. Our men maybe better at information gathering, but, as much as I'd hate to admit it, you here at Yoron are far better at the actual field work."
As the trio approached the Control Center, they arrived just in time to notice another figure approaching from the opposite side of the walkway, Ciel.
Though she was nineteen, and nearly ready to turn twenty, one not knowing her age would have guessed her to still be fifteen judging her by her physical appearance. Sporting her usual pink armor, her blond pony tailed hair bounced lightly as she approached the Control Center's main door.
"Oh," Ciel said with slightly surprised, "I wasn't expecting to see you here. You know, the others were rather angry that you sent your second in command to the meeting rather than going yourself."
"Yes, well, those political meetings are more his forte than mine," G1 replied with a slight smirk, "So, how did it go?"
"Argh," Ciel said placing her hand on her forehead and shaking her head side to side, "I'd rather forget. Things were fine for about the first five minutes. Then, the American general thought we should have an official leader, and he of course oh so graciously nominated himself for the position. The next four hours were spent arguing over idea which ended in a 'we'll decide later' decision. After that, we only had an hour to discuss the issues we actually came to discuss. I was actually surprised, usually the arguments last longer leaving us less time to deal with the real issues."
"Yes, yes, and that is EXACTLY why I don't bother going to those meetings myself," G1 said nodding in understatement.
Turning to an access panel beside the Control Center's door, Ciel punched in a twelve digit pass code. Upon hitting enter a portion of the wall slide away reveling a palm and an eye scanners. Upon getting a through scan from those systems, the heavily fortified doors finally opened.
"Since you're here I'm guess you have something you wish to discuss," Ciel stated putting her hand out and allowing G1 to go on a head of her. Then, giving both a hello and fair well nod to both Bitmite and Specter, she herself entered and the doors slid shut and locked behind.
As the duo walked through the room, the greeted those inside pausing only to retrieve a status update data pad from Will before going through another door on the far side and into Ciel's main office. Quickly and quietly, Ciel took her seat behind her desk while G1 took his own seat in one of the guest chairs. Reaching into his pocket, G1 pulled out his own datapad and, handing it to the resistance leader, began discussing the mission he had need of help on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mean while, having been left outside the Control Center, Bitmite turned toward Specter and tipped his hat slightly, "Whelp, thanks for the guide my friend, but right now I hear a chow hall calling my name."
With that, the Arms Master turned and began walking away.
As Tempest and Rain prepared to square off, the entire program began to glitch and jump around. When the error ended, the duo found that they were now in the company of a third much larger companion.
Large dents, scratches, and other battle damage covered Fallout's heavy exoskeleton. The left half of his usually green armor was blackened with soot indicating some sort of explosive had gone of quite close to him recently.
His physical stance was clearly that of one prepared to fight. His knees were bent and ready to spring in any direction in an instant. His torso was leaned forward slightly and crouched down ward to to reduce his size slightly. His arms, the right transformed into a steaming buster and the left with the EMP knuckles extended, were held out from his sides and ready to strike out at any moment.
His eyes scanned the environment as he suddenly realized he was no longer on the battle field. There was a slight whirring sound as the massive reploid left his battle stance and raised to his full height.
Snarling angrily, Fallout spoke, "God damn this second rate crap, Neo Arcadian tech never let this happen." His eyes turned to Tempest as he raised an accusing finger at the man, "Hay you. What's the big idea? You're freakin' daisy field screwed up my battle simulation."
"Not my doing. What occured was accidental on your part."
Tempest raised a finger towards Rain to tell her they would begin shortly
"A glitch like that could only occur if you overloaded the system somehow. Now based on how you appear now and upon your arrival, my guess is you were in the middle of...what 100,000, 200,000 opponents? By any chance did you manage to wipe them all out at once?
*Meanwhile Rain would receive a tightbeam transmission*
"This...man and I aren't on the best of terms so you may want to back up aways. And you flatter me, my speed's nothing special."
Specter began walking back to the lift, he was sure a mission breif was to come soon, so he hurried in the direction of the archives...
He needed info on Aeris Corporation, the people who had built him, and the father he'd meet once in Berlin. He had too many questions to be answered, and if possible he needed to find their more recent activities.
"Good luck, today is Salisbury Steak, I hear as human food goes it's hit or miss...", Specter said before Bitmite would be out of hearing range.
Well, worst comes to worse, we can both jump him... Rain tightbeamed back, as her arms lurched in front of her at full length, slamming the two cylindircal shafts together; in a flash, the two connected, telescoping outward with a blade forming at one end to form a long glaive, which she let rest by her right side as her arms dropped back down. She took a couple of steps away from the two, backward, patiently watching and waiting...
Sokuren saw the scene on the monitors as he walked into the simulator room, then walked over to the control board and asked the resident tech "system glitch again?"
"yeah" responded the tech "luckily this time we didn't lose anyone this time"
"heh, i remember that, didn't someone get stuck in the main computer for a week that time?" Sokuren asked
"ugh, don't remind me, took hours to extract him form the system, so what are you here for?"
"i got that Golem memory core you guys requested, turns out most of the golems we salvaged were only good as scrap, we would be lucky if we get five working ones out of it"
"huh, thats too bad" said the tech as he took the memory core and turned to the console and spoke into his comm, which was linked into the simulator and said "hey, fallout, i got some new combat data, wanna try it out?"
