Blaze continued to lay on the ground dumb founded as this tiny girl he just meet was seemingly confessing her love for him. Mean while, seeing that their comrade was alright (technically speaking), several of the nearby mechanics went back to work, but not all. Those that remained stood back and suppressed laughs at the scene that was taking place before them. They were enjoying it so much, Blaze was certain that if they had had the time they would have pulled up chairs and pop popcorn.
"Sorry I didn't mean to forget you," Blaze stummered once again. "I guess I just bumped my head too hard when I fell, that's all."
He paused and his eyes went wide when she made the threat of hugging him with the needle, and from her flight pattern she appeared to mean it. Quickly, his hand reached up and the mask portion of his helmet snapped into place effectively sealing his face away from the encroaching needle.
"ER...thanks, but no thanks," Blaze replied, "but I think I already have enough scars on my face for one life time."
What's up with this girl, Blaze wondered to himself, Well she is kinda cute. Maybe if she were three feet taller...NO NO BAD BLAZE BAD that's just distub...hay! Where did they get that popcorn?

Pulling back just short of the impending obstacle, her forward velocity haplessly plummeted into the red. A dreary color easily corrected with a second helping of searing heat! She shot her man a pouty frown at the unwanted obstacle, one which slowly diminished into a slightly perverted grin as she came to a realization.
How cute, he must still be a virgin, and o my, so many people around too.
He could tell she was up to something as her head danced back and forth. Her petite posterior wagged back and forth in unison while she turned carelessly away to hide a deep blush, giving him an unadulterated viewing from mere inches away. An unscrupulous smile formed as she considered a public display of affection, and in front of all these people too! He was just shy though, better to save it for later and not rush him. Hastily changing the subject, she rubbed upon the back of her head, hair pulsing slightly at the heated rod of metal combing through it.
Turning again to face his ... face. "I bump my head all the time too." she quickly chirped, in complete and honest to god truthfulness. "I bumped my head at least five times just on my way over here." Again, all too true. "Sometimes, sometimes it even jars something loose up there, mean, scary thoughts." Yet again true, if not disturbing even more so as she giggled innocently. "But then I just forget about them again." The final truth.
"Nani?" she spoke in serious confusion, blinking twice rapidly just to be extra cute as her eyes lit up. "I can probably fix that for you?!" "Oh oh, wait, a scar scar, you could never have too many of those for me to stop loving you." Smiling as she blew him an imaginary kiss. "Go out there until you come back, etched all over with deep, manly scars." She spoke, cocking her head slightly to hide a noticeable blush, giggling uncontrollably at the mere thought of her mighty hero coming back from a heralding mission, damage having stripped him down to the buff, covered with manly, manly scars all over. Only to notice in the same glance, some freshly popped corn nuggets.
"Ooooo, Popcorn! ♪"
As quick as she had come, she had zoomed away even quicker. Something could be said, many things in fact, about a hyper-active fairy with a overworked jaw and an endless wind supply, but getting a word in edgewise could be so darn frustrating sometimes when the creature dashed about so darn fast. Stabbing at a single piece of popcorn, she laughed manically as it charred and blackened. Now just right, the needle slowly simmered to a lower temperature as she called over her shoulder "Want some, my snuggly puffins? I cooked it up just right, just fer you! ♪" An unabashed smile covered her face as an indication he had a chance to talk again.

[[Sorry Blaze skimmed your post over and missed my cue....]]
"Hmm, G1 and Bitmite I presume... Unfortunately I'm alittle mixed up as to where I am myself, but it should be up a level, if I could find the stairs or the main lift I'd be able to show you," He stated looking around, if his creator could see him now he'd be rather embarrassed. "Assassination Reploid who can't find his way around....so pathetic...," He said in a whisper.
He activated his homing beacon, the main computer in the base instantly sent him his position and directions to the main control room. He hated having to do that, but a last resort is just that. 'Glad I set that up...'
"Right this way," He said heading down the hall toward the main lift. 'I'll get the bad end of many a joke for that later...Oh well I suppose it couldn't be helped.' He cursed himself for finding the one place to meditate that was only accessible by a single stairwell, due to cave ins near the main lift on that level...
"So gentlemen what brings you to the lower levels of the abyss, I wasn't aware that there were to many things down here to interest anyone besides myself?" Specter walked as he asked them, observing them both with the four lenses on the back of his helm, making no effort to hind the fact that he was looking. The center lens of the cluster zooming in on them both and adjusting, "I don't believe we've formally meet however. Tell me though, something is finally happening topside right, it has been way to quite from Neo Arcadia of late."

Three hours later...
"Ugh..."
"How do you feel?"
Dark slits opened to reveal Cinnamon staring over them.
"Well. My head's pounding... heh, so actually very good. Thanks."
Cinnamon smiled as the Reploid rose to his feet. The short black hair blew in the fans surrounding the surgical bed, even though there had been no surgery.
"So, no complications in... hey, what are you staring at, Cinny?"
Cinnamon just smiled. The Reploid grinned a bit and looked towards the door.
"Well, this is the first time a Reploid's ever been put back into a body from a Cyber Elf form. I guess I'll get used to this body before I go back out there," the Reploid commented. "I'm borrowing the human's rehabilitation clinic. It'll at least let me get the kinks out of my motors." He turned to another door, and was almost out of it, when a small noise from behind him perked up. He looked over his shoulder, at Cinnamon, who was still smiling.
"Hey..." she said. A small delay, then...
"Welcome back, Strike."
Strike, formerly Strike Caine, but now without a last name, just chuckled and flexed his hand, enjoying being able to move fingers now without having to float everywhere. He nodded to Cinnamon. "Yeah, it's good to be back."
Without another word, he walked into the rehabilitation clinic, grabbed a treadmill's bar, flipped over it and begin stretching out his new legs.

(OOC: I knew it was you. ) Running, running, RUNNING. Rain could run all day in this odd body, the only thing ever really feeling the fatigue being her head. It's resulted in her passing out dozens of times since her awakening so long ago... despite how she had no recollection prior to being in Giga City, it still felt somewhat... alien. Nevertheless, Rain had plenty of energy to burn, running her way and eventually making it to the building, hair swishing back and forth in an upbeat rhythm, moving the lass into the very same rehab clinic until her running slowed to a halt. Blue eyes blinked as she gazed at the reploid before her, flashbacks immediately flooding her still-human brain. The man who had saved her, and the friends and family that had cared for her for so long. He was back. It was Strike. "S-Strike...?!" Rain blinked, looking upwards at his more-than-likely taller body as she blinked. "How... they were making a body for you?"

((If SOMEONE didn't figure it out, I was going to start throwing punches at you assholes.))
"Huh?"
Strike stopped on the treadmill for a second, looking up at the girl. His mind went through his databases for a second, then he remembered.
"Rain, right?"
He actually just walked off of the treadmill this time, coming around it. He grinned a bit as he walked forward.
"Yeah, well, it takes a bit more for the Grim Reaper to get this head off than most. Aeris Corp was working on this body of mine for about a year, in between Neo Arcadian inspections."
Strike idly grabbed a towel and wiped a bit of sweat off of his brow, then threw the towel around his shoulders. Not wearing his armor, you couldn't tell he wasn't human. However, his face got a bit more serious as he came closer.
"Look, Rain. I just got a body back about five, ten minutes ago. I'd like to have a day or so peace before everyone knows I'm not a melted junk heap. So if you don't mind, don't tell anyone what you saw, and lock the door to this place on the way out. I swear, being a Cyber Elf for a few years makes you forget about the most basic stuff..."
Either way, he nodded to Rain, and grinned, then walked back to the treadmill.
"I don't care if you come in and chat for a bit though. Just don't let anyone follow you in."

Rain let out a soft chuckle, blinking. "Don't worry, I'm good with keeping secrets."
Her eyes glanced back towards the door, as she walked towards it, closing it. It was nice, the feeling was nice... hanging out with a hero, someone she trusted well, someone who saved her life. She would stay, she eventually decided, even if it was just to keep him company a little while as he got used to his new body. She knew how it felt to wake up, with no sense of how to operate, well... yourself. Freakin' weird.
Eventually, she walked back over. "How does it feel?" She asked with a smile... knowing what the answer would probably be.

"It's not as bad as you might think. You hear a lot about humans have rejection syndromes to their cyberware. With Reploids, you get the right programs downloaded, and it's done. I'm just trying to make sure everything's alright, really."
Strike stood on the treadmill and began to walk on it. His black eyes, the one change that was easily noticed over his other frame, began to twitch back and forth rapidly, something a lot of Reploids did when they were processing large amounts of information at high speed.
"The big difference is having a body at all. Since the Giga City incident, I've been a Cyber Elf. It's weird walking, more than anything else, but once I get it back into my subroutines, I'll be fine. Cinnamon kept me under for about three hours after the operation, more or less. It let my systems get used to everything. So, get me up to speed. I've been pretty much restricted to Cinny's shoulder for the last few years. What's going on in the world?"

Rain giggled. So THAT's who was floating around her all this time. Cute. As Strike asked about the latest news, she made her way over to a chair, sitting down. "Well... we found Zero. He's been helping us and stuff... been a great help, actually. Ciel's currently stepped up to be in charge, I don't know if she'll eventually step back down to let you or Zero regain command, but well... you get the idea."
She let out a sigh. "The world still sucks, if that's what you're wondering, anyways."

"Thanks," G1 replied as he and his comrade followed the assassin reploid. Though no longer scratching the back of his head, G1 still wore the sheepishly embarrassed look on his face.
Bitmite chuckled to himself, "Well, the boss here was so caught up in laughing about an incident that happened a short while ago, he forgot was at Yoron and not in Russia. You see at our base the command center is located at the lowest level not the middle.
"You're right we haven't," G1 replied while giving Bitmite a side glance about the comment the man had just made. He then looked back at the lens in the back of Specter's head and smiled, "As I'm sure you know I'm G1, and this is my Arms Master Bitmite."
As they reached the stairs, the Russian leader paused and began rubbing his chin in thought, "Yes they have been quiet lately, but not quiet enough as far as I'm concerned. Believe me there is a lot more going on under the surface than most realize." He paused and smiled, "I could tell you some of the stuff that's going on, but then I'd have to kill you," He continued to smile in a friendly manner as he spoke, yet Specter should get the distinct impression he wasn't kidding.

"I'm Specter, I've been around this place a good while. Oh and the main computer tells me that my something intresting has come about, Strike is back, though the computer tells me he's under strict guard by Cinnimon," Specter increased his pace. "We should hurry up and get to the command center, if Neo Aracadia gets wind of that bit of news, we'll be busy soon enough."
'Apparently Strike refused to stay dead... just thought that pheonix thing was a fetish of his....I'll have to ask how he did it.'
Specter walked briskly into the lift, and hit the B3 button. He held the door, waiting for the other two. It was going to pick up around here, he could feel it.

"Ah so I see the transfer was a success," G1 responded with a pleased nod as he entered the lift. A moment later, the doors shut once more and they slowly began moving. "I wouldn't be too concerned though. It'll be a while before the Arcadian's learn of Strike's return, and even when they do, Copy X is more concerned with killing Ciel and us other Generals."
He paused a moment and then leaned a little closer to Specter, "Oh, and try to keep Strike's revival between us for now. Only a few people know, I'm sure he's planning on making an announcement himself sometime soon."

"Kinda expected that actually."
Strike chuckled and stepped off of the treadmill for the last time, satisfied in his body's performance in the lower end. To test the upper end, he reclined onto the bench press and gripped the bar. He raised it into the air and twirled it for a couple of seconds, remembering his reploid strength, then leaned back up and loaded four one-hundred pound weights onto it. He reclined again and began to easily pump the weight back and forth over him.
"So Ciel's been leading? Hmm. I don't know how I take to a fifteen-year old girl leading us into battle. Personally I'd..." His words were temporarily cut off by a rep from the weights. "...rather someone that young didn't see the hell we're in." Another rep. "I guess that's the world though."
He grinned as he heard about Zero, another Reploid who had a nasty habit of not knowing when the hell to give up. "Ah, there's a guy..." Another rep. "...that I'd follow into battle. Commander Zero. I was..." Another rep. "...a member of the Zero Unit, back in the day." Up, down. "I dunno if it's a sense of justice..." Up, down. "...or he just wants to shred through Mavericks, but..." Yin, yang. "...Zero doesn't like the idea of being dead either. This is too easy."
Strike leaned up from the bar, and removed the weights. He seemed to be grinning, however. Four-hundred thirty pounds was too little for him. This body would do.

Post by grandmasterdewei on Jan 12, 2008 1:22:12 GMT -6
Grandmaster Dewei is walking around base with Zackary. He actually wants Zackary to not be too worried about his past. He wants to know what happened, but the Grandmaster rather would do something martial arts related, to see if he would calm down.
"Over here. This is my private training grounds. Not many on base know it's here. Only a couple know, or a couple have stumbled upon here by accident."
The grandmaster opens a door, inside the base, and it takes them both up to a room where it's about 30 feet wide, and long. It's more of a circular room, but sun can be seen through the windows. The grandmaster shuts the door, and turns on a training simulation program, from a near by computer. He wanted to make it violent, but not too violent, he wanted to see if Zackary would react the way he would want to.
"You remember any techniques from what you learned today?"
Zackary responded a little more fluently: "A few, nothing too..............specific."
The grandmaster turned on the program, and said to his disciple.
"You are going into a training program. There are going to be a random number of people for you to defeat. Intentions will become clear when you enter the virtual world. I will be watching over you, remember this, nothing bad can happen to you, because it's only a virtual world. Good luck, I will be watching over you."
The grandmaster turns on the program, and Zackary feels a slight shock, and starts to shut down, but then reboot in a virtual world. Zackary falls on the floor, but Grandmaster is watching him in the virtual world.
Zackary looks around to see where he is. He is in a city like setting, but with Neo Arcadia banners everywhere. He started walking in the middle of this apocolypse like setting, and all of the sudden a man came into view, but Zackary saw a man entering from the right.
The man swung a beam saber at Zackary. Zackary ducked, and gave the man a small thud with his boot, and knocked the man down. The man was on the ground, and his beam saber fell out of reach. Zackary started pummeling the man on the ground, but then Zackary felt a painful sensation in his back.
"Zackary, on your feet now! How can you be so sure of how many of them there are?" Dewei's voice echoed.
Zackary turned around, and spotted another, with a barrel facing him.
"Oh........crap."
Zackary started running, and before he could get away, he was shot in the right arm.
"OW! GEEZ that hurt!"
As he ran, he hid inside a building. He waited whoever shot him, to follow. Luck was on Zack's side. The person who shot him ran into the building. Zackary quickly seized the attacker, and had him leaned backward in on Zackary's leg, and Zackary controlled the arm, and with the other hand his neck, and broke the attackers arm, having him drop the gun, and falling on his back. Zack quickly picked up the gun, and as he was about to pull the trigger.....
"No don't. You can show him pain, but do you really want to go that far?"
"Yes I do grandmaster."
"Ok I am going to stop the simulation for two reasons. One, you always need to show your enemies mercy, and let them stay where they are if they can't move, or let them leave. This brings you a step closer to discovering the true power and nature of martial arts. Two, this point is not relevant, but there was another attacker behind you, and you can turn around, because he is frozen. He was about to slice your throat with a knife, and you didn't see it coming. How can you pull a trigger if you are dead, instead of trying to finish off an attacker that couldn't do anything, you should have looked around for more enemies like this one. Keep in mind this is a drill, there were 3 attackers, but if you had turned around, you could have ran, and escaped with your life. I also already know looking into your technique database, you don't have a disarm. Simply because we never go to the disarm. Let me bring you back."
The grandmaster pushed the escape button, and it rebooted Zackary into his body. Zackary got up, and the grandmaster said.
"We will go over disarms eventually. Your main focus is to scan, even during battle. One of the five main animals of Shaolin Kung Fu, a leopard, will scan constantly. The leopard will go, do a couple of quick strikes, or a kick, or a sweep. But the leopard move away and not only check to see if his opponent can still fight, but it will check it's setting around it. If his opponent can still fight, or a new one appears, it can choose to attack OR escape. You don't always have to fight Zackary. You will learn that over time. Understand?"
Zackary looked a little disappointed, gave a teenager kind of look when teenagers are disappointed, but he stoped frowning suddenly, and gave a more neutral look. It was the kind of look, that said that he understood, but he didn't want to say he truely understood, because he was far from understanding.
"I think I understand. Can you show me how a leopard fights?"
The grandmaster gave a light hearted laugh, then he said:
"First you need leopard footwork, but before you learn how to move, you need to learn.........and"
Zackary listened for the last words, but in the middle of everything, the grandmaster pushed him over with two fingers, one index finger from each hand, each hitting a pressure point, one was on a majority vessel in Zackary's neck, and one was on his spine. Zackary fell over, as the grandmaster exploited these pressure points under a second, without any effort and finished his sentence
"Stand."
The room went out of view as the grandmaster helped Zackary up, and showed him some fundamental stances.

Ya I wouldn't doubt that, Blaze thought to himself as he finally had a chance to stand up.
Dusting himself off, he turned and began a shoo motion with his hands at the popcorn eating group, "OK, OK shows over, get back to work before I make the lot of you field strip the hover bikes."
With one last laugh the crew got up and went back to their work, leaving what was left of the popcorn on a near by bench.
Blaze turned his head and looked at the tiny girl once again. Now that he had had a chance to recover from his shock he decided to take the time to quickly re-read the personnel file he had on her. Visible only on his side of the visor, the data ran along side her image.
"So Akiko," Blaze said with a smile, "I don't suppose you could give us a hand could you? We need to remove these control circuits from this golem here...removed UNDAMAGED from this golem here I should add. It would take us the better part of the morning to rip this thing open and remove them, but if you were to fly inside you'd be able to slip them out undamaged in about ten minutes. What do ya say will ya do it?"
