Uh, a statless system doesn't feel like you achieve anything in the game. After all if there are no achievements, what do you hope to gain playing? Sorry I don't see it happening, maybe if it had stats.

You gain a better system of roleplaying that harbors more actually badassery on all sides than I have a 20 you have a 2 types of RP's, no stats give the players the oportunity to build characters that don't become handicapped by the system only by their imagination and a sense for what is fair.

Well true, but then you lose the achivements. To me if there's no point in improving, or accomplishing and upgrading a character, why play?

Alot of characters never really improve for the most part, as well as the fact that this system would reward Forte, Specialties, and Talents for good rp instead of stats or xp. Your character improves more gradually rather than the sharp improvements that tend to make games with stats a little less realistic than they could have been otherwise.

I actually like statless systems. They're more creative overall.
Dewei, I believe you play because it's fun. You make your character and run with it, and enjoy it.
I'm currently working on one myself. I'll probably change my title once I get done with it.

But you need to have rules so you can follow them. Things have to make sense. Sure it's fun, but I play so I can get better. I like seeing an actual number in front of my face, but the only thing about Grandmaster Dewei, he's an original character from THH forum, stats kinda don't apply to him as much, he's kinda based on your system. But I don't think I could play like that, I like to build and improve on what I have.

That 20 damage I have written down for RYS' weapon is clearly a crutch imposed by the stats system. I say kill it, and just accept that RYS will carve through anything and everything like a giant chainsaw sword through cake.

The system I've outlined does away with most of the non-essential rules that so many systems have to force a percieved balance on their player base. Rather than trusting a player to balance to everyone elses characters so that mutually fufilling rp happens....

Well within limits but that's kinda ingrained in the spirt of this system, otherwise, your to powerful to interact with the other pc's and they'll just ignore you, or at least should at that point.

Fair enough, but the character creation system is all that I'm bringing into question.

Oh, I picked get this ready for rp on the other thread. But my say here is different. Character creation is ok I guess, I like the system the way it is, just add more stat points as you get better.
