I'm always still around. Sokuren logs in more often than anyone else, so he's a pretty safe bet too. Then there's you, and maybe Mordred. Haven't heard from Rumor in awhile, but it wouldn't surprise me if he popped back up. I'd love it if Rae, Exiam, and some of the others were still stalking the forum, but after this long we'd probably need to Aim or email them to recover their patronage. Ideas? I'd almost vote for a rehash of the RP, than a direct sequel to THH. Ya know, keep it simple. No plot holes, no continuity issues, etc. Just make some peacekeeping group (MH?) that deals with problems, and then throw a problem at them.

And then there were none. And apparently proboards has an attachment feature now. Shiny.

I'm still here...sorta....I just noticed it's been almost one year since we last posted in the main forum. Man where does the time go? I still remember just getting started on the orignal story board, good times, good times.

Yep, time tends to do just that. Still think back to THH and wonder where the last three(?) years went.
I suppose I have an oddball question as well. Does anyone here still play Diablo II at all?

Never played it, but I still want to get it and try it out even though it is an older game now . Right now however, I'm currently addicted to Fallout 3. I've had it for about two weeks now and I think I've finally found about 90% of the locations in the lower right of the map, now it's time to move onto the rest of the city ;D.

They may still sell it bundled with the expansion for a decent price if you look in the right places. Been awhile since I've really checked out stores and said to myself "Hey, they still have D2 on their shelves" though. Though there's gotta be a retail distributor somewhere for it. I'd actually be up for a game if you do pick it up. My account and characters have expired, so I'd naturally be starting right at the beginning again. For Fallout 3, I'd almost recommend you got the Game of The Year Edition if you've only picked it up at this point. (Or have they released it?) I don't know too much about the DLC for that game, but at least one of them raised the level cap, which you reach far too early in FO3 vanilla.

Ya if I get D2 (and a decent internet connection ) I'll let ya know and we can dungen crawl together. As for Fallout3 ya your right, I just maxed out my character's level at 20 yesterday, and I'm still only like 30% through the game. They eather need to get rid of the level cap or increase the exp needed to level up. I do plan on getting the expansion packs for the game so that should allow me to reach level 30, but for now I'll just have ta wait .

Yeah, I think I hit level 20 just by exploring the southwest area of the map (west of the river and the bottom half, roughly 1/4 of the map). At that point it felt like I was just wasting ammo on enemies. I honestly prefer they had stuck with the traditional Fallout experience system; where quests were the primary source of experience, so you don't hit Lv. 20 before you've covered even half the game. There is a player mod out there that increases the level cap, but I don't believe it would include the new perks for Lv. 21+ that you get with the dlc; assuming that's proprietary. So it's probably not recommended if you plan to buy the dlc, though I've really only heard bad things about the dlc in general. Personally, I think they need to evaluate their policy on expansions/sequels, but if people keep buying up anything and everything dlc; then I imagine Bethesda would disagree with me... Anyways, yeah. I've started a sorceress already in D2, but given all the classes and builds I imagine I'd have something left to do unless I've just stopped playing entirely by the time you get a hold of the game.

Hay I found a bounch of mods at fileplanet.com for Fallout 3. Level cap increase, weapon balancing, improved character graphics, and a new companion, just to name a few ;D. You'll have to download the download program, but other than that the sight has a ton of game mods for a bounch of different games.

Yeah, there's also: www.fallout3nexus.com/Although I imagine there's quite a bit of sharing/overlapping between the two. Fileplanet looks to be a bit trimmer than nexus; at least as far as I recall Nexus had just way too many mods for its own good. If you find any really good ones, send me a link. I've never really dug through them all since there are just so many of them.

I actually found out that Fileplanet has a huge mod pack after I looked around a bit more. The two you mentioned are probably in it... somewhere. It's like 5gig; that's almost as big as the game disk. Although I'm not sure which you are referring to specifically, since there are level mods that raise your level cap, others that slow your exp gain; then there are just so many weapons mods: Entirely new weapons, a weapon rebalance one, weapon tweaks, one that slows the degradation process of equipment, and adds in cross-repair between equipment so you don't need to find the exact same weapon to repair your own with. Could you elaborate?

You never did specify which mods you were referring to. I'm curious which ones you're recommending, since I may give the game a second play-through in the near future. Knowing which mods you've personally had good luck with would probably influence which/if any of the mods that I try out. I'm thinking the one that makes the world a lot greener would be fun to play; nothing beats a dystopian future overflowing with greenery. Nothing else really jumped out as interesting to me, largely just mods that were good for a lark. I guess there was one that was supposed to add a ton of new weapons to the game, but I'm not sure Fallout 3 with 100+ new guns would be necessarily more fun/balanced than Vanilla was. ----------------- Happy Halloween as well. Enjoy the day off if you have it off. Also, Resident Evil marathon event: www.thespeedgamers.com/I rather enjoyed the Megaman one they had awhile back, which would have been more on-topic if I had mentioned them back then I suppose. I've only play Resident Evil 1 myself, but others may enjoy watching a bit of later RE games they may have played.
