Visual Appearance

She has the appearance of a human girl of roughly 13-14 years old, but her build is short, smallish and not outwardly impressive. A length of flowing, well kempt black hair is maintained at about waist length. Maya wears multiple layers of clothes, the most outward of which would best be described as a lengthy, one-piece robe that is split in front towards the bottom to give it a fluted, dress-like quality. The sleeves, like the uniform, are long and flowing, leaving little skin to be seen. The primary color of her collective outfit is green with white undertones. Most often, she is just barefooted.

There are no external armaments or emplacements that give off the impression of her being anything more than a human child at a glance. A particularly keen observer might notice the way her steps sink more heavily into soft surfaces than they should. Otherwise, just about any type of sophisticated scanning system would suffice. (Thermal, X-ray, structural analysis, you name it)

History

Hers is a rather short history. A byproduct of Cyber Fairy research, she was put to sleep 'temporarily' due to a budget shortfall brought on by the failing of a specific government. Yet the budget issue was never properly resolved. A year passed, and a few isolated incidents of theft occurred. Most likely committed by members of the project that were down on their luck. Visitation of the facility then halted altogether.

She may even have spent an eternity in darkness, but for a rather unique breed of reploid that awoke her. Upon awakening, he then extended her a warm, familiar hand, and the two have been together ever since. Although she is in an incomplete form due to the abrupt halt of the project, she is still quite an able warrior. The project in question was meant to address the world's reliance on Maverick Hunters, and meet the threat of an S-class hunter going rogue. So even falling short of that lofty goal is still, quite impressive.

Equipment

Her basic equipment is on the light side, due to her exterior components never being finished. She utilizes Cyber Fairies to fill in this gap, independent beings with their own specific abilities.

Basic Package:

Enhanced Form: Her basic frame, skeletal system, and systems are composed of various, high grade, materials using the most current generation construction methods. This makes her an able front line fighter despite her limited size and lack of external armor.

I.T.S: An Internalized Transfer System relegated primarily to compressing, storing, and retrieving her equipment and creatures on the fly.

Weapons

By default, her sword and magnums are stored as data in a state of transfer. They can be transferred nearly instantly into her hands though.

Unarmed (Moderate Damage, Good RoF, Poor Range)
Nothing too special to say here, except that she is strong enough to fight even unarmed, despite her size and stature. This is her only attack method which does not have an elemental affinity system with her Cryber Fairies, and it is as basic as basic gets.

Beam Sword (Great Damage, Moderate RoF, Short Range+, Element Capable)
A two-handed variant form of a beam saber that is longer and heavier, with a blade pattern similar to a claymore. It is a pull-type energy weapon, maintaining its form even as it slices. It is over 5' in full length, making it slightly taller than its wielder.

2x 'Winny' (Good Damage, Good RoF, Good Range, Extreme Recoil, Element Capable)
An energy variant on the classic magnum design. It uses a unique delivery system similar to those of old-world ballistics, which causes heavy recoil when fired. This recoil is directed straight towards the user, rather than the traditional up-and-away recoil which inhibits RoF. This weapon, simply put, is not meant for human hands.

Cyber Fairies

Using the I.T.S. Maya can store and call forth mechaniloid-like creatures that function similar to Cyber Elves. These creatures are independent, and each has their own unique personality and skill set. They are all moderately durable, universally about three inches in height each, and have proportionally oversized eyes. Similar to Cyber Elfs, they can combine with a reploid, and enhance them.




Elemental

These fairies combine with a reploid to enable elemental attacks, assuming compatible weaponry. It also has a secondary effect if the elemental type matches the recipient (I.E., Akiko + Blaze), which enhances their performance proportionally. Maya is unique in being fully compatible with all three.

Akiko (Fire Element)

A miniature ball of spunk with a spitfire personality; complete with a thematically appropriate tuft of spiky, scarlet hair. Her armor coloration is carroty orange and covers the chest, waist, and upper back. She wears a cloth miniskirt as a fashion element. Her buster output is of the fire element, and is capable of firing superheated needles. Its actual design purpose was to assist in field repair jobs, but it's mostly used for wanton destruction instead. She also has the most adorable, smallest, and cutest belly button of all the fairies; a fact she will attest to at length if the topic ever arises. Wings are V-shaped.

Yuki (Ice Element)

Yuki tends to be a bit more elegant than Akiko, and more caring than Ashni, but it won't always show. Her armor coloration is a collection of light purples and blues, and is fashioned in the style of old-world Japanese armor. It's reasonably sturdy, but leaves her midriff and face exposed. Her hair is a soft blue, and is tied back by a ribbon. Her buster output is of the ice element, but its actual purpose is for defense, producing a shield of solid ice. Her actual weapon is a physical lance, roughly the size of a toothpick, which reaches near absolute zero temperatures. She is often teased for being the 'heaviest' fairy due to her armor. Wings are multi-pronged.

Ashni (Lightning Element)

She is a bit more aloof and detached than the rest, but can be counted on when needed. Her armor coloration is black, and is little more than two thin strips conveniently placed around the bust and waist. She has short, efficient length, black hair, and sports a thin pull-down visor that can cover her eyes. Her elongated, rifle-grade buster's output is of the lightning element. It fires a long-range, accurate beam of energy. It also has a secondary function of supplying power to fully operational devices, which simply lack a power source. Her wings are long and narrow, similar to a sparrow's, and are ideal in maintaining a stable state of hovering.

Non-Elemental

These fairies combine with a reploid to enhance their mobility, and movement benefits. Zephyra enhances air-based mobility, and benefits such as flight, air-dash, wall kick, etc. Acquanetta enhances water-based mobility, and benefits that can be used underwater, such as swim, dash, etc. Maya lacks these external benefits though, and gains nothing.

Lethargic, lazy, and (checks a thesaurus) languid. Her armor coloration is golden, with grey undertones. It is fairly lightweight and minimal, while a wetsuit of sorts provides coverage from the neck down. She most notably has a tail, as well as fin-like projections. Her buster system is the twin-style, but they have zero offensive output. Rather, each buster can project a beam of light at separate focal points. She lacks wings, but a series of underwater thrusters 'suffice' for flight. Most of her time is spent 'sleeping' in the I.T.S., possibly a byproduct of being teased for her lack of wings and "seaweed hair". She only really feels alive when she's in her natural element.

She is usually tuned into some radio station or another almost 24/7 whenever she is active. As such, she tends to be overly loud and opinionated on a number of topics. Her armor colorization is alternately black and yellow, much like a yellow jacket moth. She does not have a buster at all, making her unique in that regard. What she does have though; is a rather sleek set of mechanical wings like those of a dragonfly, and twin stabilizers for balance. She has long black hair similar to Maya's, and it's an eternal wonder how it never gets caught in her wings. She also dons a garrison cap, similar in fashion to that of a flight attendant.
