Physical Description: Tall, with a thin build. Max is naturally agile and enjoys practicing yoga and martial arts to keep up his battle skill. Almost always found in a T-shirt and jeans, he looks like any other guy his age save for two oddities. The first is the abnormally large wrench sheathed on his back like a sword, which serves as both a tool and a weapon for Max complete with a hilt and handguard as well as multiple forms, and the second being the bracers and metal bands on both of his arms, something not usually seen in modern times. Max also carries a large backpack over his right shoulder, holding all of his tools, gear and supplies.
Max has an affinity for hats and has a large collection of them, wearing anything from a beret to a ten gallon hat, though in a battle, only two will be seen. The first is a black baseball cap, usually worn frontwards. The second is a white fedora, both having a certain....uniqueness due to Max's hobby of tinkering.
Armors
Max has designed two main armors to wear in battle, each having a specific set of abilities to augment his natural skills and love of the lost arts of ninjitsu. Both reflect his...unique way of looking at life and the aforementioned talents.
Anonymous Armor
Description: The Anonymous (lovingly nicknamed "Anon" by Max) armor is in reality his clothing, from his hat(s) to his shoes, each has circuitry sewn throughout. This secrecy suits his second hobby, stealth. After all, who would expect simple clothing to be armor? The "armor's" effects are all activated by either a verbal command or by manipulation of the article of clothing in question.
Abilities: Physical Enhancers, Light blocker and either an Audio canceller or a Scanning system, depending on which hat is being used.
Weaknesses: Light, gives no defense boosts.
Anon Parts-
Head: A.B.S version 1.0 (Audio Blocking System)-Equipped with black cap. (Upon flipping backward, the hat radiates a sonic field that cuts the sounds Max makes down to levels that require special sensors to pick up. Deactivated by returning the hat to a frontwards position.)
T.E.S.H. version 0.8 (Trifold Environment Scanning Headgear)- Equipped with white fedora. (When Max utters the command phrase "Scope On.", a visor with earphones will fold down from the inside brim to cover his eyes and ears. With the scanner active he can study three aspects, sending the data he obtains to a remote server. The three aspects are field environment, a enemy analyzer and a general scanner, used primarily for repairing reploids and machinery though it can be tapped for other purposes. Also has a built in long range comm link. Cancels with the phrase "Seen enough.")
Body: L.I.T. version 2.0 (Light Interrupting Tunic)- Equipped with shirt(s).
(Max need only give a small tug on his shirt to activate a field that bends the light around him, making him vanish from view. While this is foolproof, it does not conceal his body temperature. Another tug will cancel the effect.)
Arms: E.A.R.S. version 1.1 (Enhancing Arm Reaction System)- Equipped with arm bands/bracers. (Activated by cracking his knuckles, this system sends several different signals through Max's arms beginning from the bands and travelling to and back from the bracers to increase his strength by 1.5 times normal. Sends supportive signals to his nerves and muscles, and general signals to increase local bloodflow and adrenaline. Cancels when he dusts his hands.)
Legs: L.A.B.S. version 1.4 (Leg Ability Boosting System)- Dual equipped with jeans and shoes. (Activated with the command "Boost Up.", this system uses similar technology as the E.A.R.S to allow Max to perform advanced feats of agility and speed. When active, Max can jump 1.3 times farther and can run up to 2 times faster than normal. Cancels with the command "Boost Over.")
Nitestrike Armor
Description: A deep navy blue (almost black) colored armor, this is more the standard design you would expect. Designed to be used in cover of darkness, this armor is summoned when Max is required to use more stealth than the Anon would allow for, making it the choice for recon and infiltration missions. Resembles ninja garb of old, complete with a headband in the helmet with a star emblem embedded.
Abilities: Increased stealth capability, ability to manipulate time. Ice elemental attack, and increased movement.
Weaknesses: Light, no defense. Best aspects of this armor only last for certain periods, both with a long cooldown period -10 minutes for C.A.S. and A.G.E.S.
Nitestrike Parts-
Head: C.A.S. version 2.3 (Chrono Alteration System)
A system designed to project a field around Max that slows down the passage of time in that area. While he continues to move normally in his view, in reality he is moving at a blur compared to those outside the field. Lasts for 30 seconds, effectively turning them into minutes.
Body: V.I.C. version 1.3 (Visual Information Copier)
A illusionary system designed to make the Nitestrike blend into it's environment like a chameleon. Max upon activating this system can either match the color of his current terrain, effectively making him invisible, or can mimic the form of anyone he's seen recently (up to 10 people within the last 24 hours.). This allows for Max to get past certain obstacles, provided he can mimic the right person, or can hitch a ride on a vehicle.
Arms: C.E.L.S. version 2.1 (Cold Energy Launching System)
Located in the wrists, this system generates frost energy which pools in the hands. This energy can be used to enhance punches with a freezing chill or can be shot out from the hands in icy sphere-like blasts. Currently cannot stack to weapons, either held or mounted.
Legs: A.G.E.S. version 0.5 (Anti Gravity Emitting System)
Within the armor’s boots sits this system, made to allow Max to circumvent gravity for short periods. For a five minute duration, Max will effectively float in mid-air, which can be turned into movement, either by running along walls or ceilings or with leaps that otherwise would be impossible.
Weapons
Smash-Max's beloved wrench. In it's standard form, it is a blade sized single sided wrench, with a handguard and grip, which Max uses like a sword or at least like a blunt metal object. However, it can be adjusted to change modes/attack type.
Blast form: Max lifts and rotates the wrench "blade" to make a gun barrel, with the handguard retracting and separating to create a trigger. The wrench opens at the top to release a combined shot from two inner barrels, comprised of beam energy.
Dual form: Splitting Smash down the middle, twin beam energy streams fire from the gun barrels in a long steady rate, creating two beam blades that Max can dual wield. Almost exclusively used when donning the Nitestrike.
