"A-Alan!" Trina said blushing, emberrased by her friends comment. She was sort of used to his sort of comments, but right now wasn't the best time for those kind of jokes.

"Ha ha, I was just kidding Trin, sometimes you have to lighten up." He said patting her on the head again.

Alter picked up Exiam's signal over his own built-in communicator, and groaned inwardly. Don't get angry... Radio silence is pointless if they know you're here already. If they wanted to kill you, they'd have done it by now, right? Refusing to answer his own inner voice, Alter kept trudging on through the sand, keeping with the rest of Group A and counting down the seconds until sunrise...

Exiam laughed and turned his com link to mute so these words wouldn't travel over the airwaves as he approached Alan and Trina. Having heard Alan's comment about phone sex he shook his head and smiled "Sorry Alan but having phone sex is not allowed..sorry to shatter your dream.." he said looking serious again. "Have any of you seen someone else? As in some other people of team b?" he asks both of them while he looks around keeping his eyes peeled for anything.
Suddenly his internal sensors gave him a warning there was slight tremor 1.5 on the Richter scale. His sensors pin pointing the exact location of the tremor on his internal map set its origin at the exact location where Team A had teleported in. "dammit.." he muttered looking back to Trina and Alan. "Come on we have to hurry were heading in that direction.." he said pointing to north east before starting to run as fast as he could.
On the site of Team A they felt the tremor as well it was a lot worse for them tough 5.7 on the Richter scale on their exact location. As the tremor was active the sand stirred and slowly from the sand rose a giant worm like head as slowly more of the creature rise the tremors calmed down and the creature looked over party A. 10 feet tall, his scales withered away with only a few scraps of paint left here and there, his mouth still intact with rows and rows of razor sharp teeth. The mechlanoid sand worm was hungry and team A was his dinner.

"We found Soruken just a moment ago," Blaze replied. "I haven't received return replies from the rest of the crew so it's likely most of them decided to return to base. And...ah...hang on a second."
At first Blaze hadn't noticed the trembling, only a few grains of sand sliding down one of the hills gave any indication. However, the trembling quickly increased in intensity until it became difficult to maintain one's balance on the shifting sand. Suddenly all movement stopped leaving group A in an squared silence for several seconds before the massive head broke through the surface.
Row after row of teeth within the massive creature's moved and shifted creating an almost mechanical roaring sound as it looked down at its prey. And unfortunately for Blaze, he was the first one in the creature's sights.
The creature's head and torso reared back slightly then sprang forward with incredible speed. Blaze had no time to move, only enough time to let out a scream of terror that inevitably rose in pitch as it came out until it resembled that of a woman about to be killed in a nineteen sixties horror movie.
A jolt shimmered through the creatures body as a bolt of super heated plasma struck the creatures the creature's side tearing off several sand worn plates of armor and throwing off it's attack trajectory enough to miss it's intended target.
Nearby, Fallout stood snarling as his blaster charged for a second shot, "Psft, what a pathetic excuse for target."
Mean while, the sand worm lifted it's head once more causing torrents of sand to fly in all directions. As it looked around for a new target, sand fell from it's mouth like dried saliva giving it an even more ravenous look.

As he was still a little bit away from the rest of the team, Sokuren had a little more time to act when the giant worm burst out of the ground. And the first thing that he did was drop to a kneeling position and hit a button on one side of his visor. A wire frame blueprint started to appear on the left side of his visor as the giant worm was scanned, ignoring other things like blaze screaming like a little girl. when the scan was done, he quickly copied it, compressed the copy, and sent it in a communication burst to the combat members to Team A, along with the attached message: "heres a scan, possible weak points are highlighted red"

Scans indicated several useful things:
It indicated that the worm's primary external armor, with the exception of a few small pieces here or there, had been been completely torn off due to time and friction from moving under the sand. Thought the under armor remained intact, it too had been thinned with age and had only a fraction of it's original protective capabilities.
Despite this obvious weakness, it was still obviously going to be a dangerous opponent. The creature was large, agile, and very strong, and if someone were unlucky enough to get scooped up into it's mouth they'd be torn to shreds in a matter of seconds.

"Time to rest, anicent one."
That's all Tempest said as he rose up off the ground and took off like a small jet heading towards the giant mechaniloid, his axe firing to life and glowing with a violet hue in the night sky. He opened a one on one channel with Sokuren seeing as he had the most information on the beast at the moment...
"In some cases, the jaw servos and protocols were hidden on these things and not put in the head. Can you locate them?"
Meanwhile the ninja himself flew right under the beast's chin, slashing as he passed.

Without the beam protective armor, Tempest's ax cut easily through the creatures throat leaving a long gash in it's wake. Though a machanaloid such as this was incapable of feeling pain, it still registered impacts and damage and immediately reared back preventing the cut from being too deep. Almost immediately, safety compartments locked into place behind the slash to prevent sand from entering the wound.
At about the same time Fallout let loose with a second blast of plasma. However, due to the creature's unexpected reaction to Tempest's attack, the attack mearly grazed past the creature's back striking a nearby sand dune super heating the sand melting it into a large bowl shaped dish of glass.
Snarling, Fallout gave Tempest an annoyed side glance before returning his gaze back to the worm and charging a second shot.
Meanwhile, the worm launched forward snapping it's large oval shaped mouth just inches behind Tempest's flight path. Cocking it's head and recognizing it's prey was out of strike range, switched attack tactics. Opening it's mouth once more two small tubes within the creature's mouth opened near the creature's throat. Moment's later twin torrents of sand erupted from the creature's mouth with the speed and force of a fire hose.

A wormlike reploid, how adorably cute it was. Though those rows of razor sharp teeth, clearly an invitation few would accept. It was a shame, really; a design flaw at its worst. Row after row of hypnotic pillars of flame; now that was a gaping maw you could really hop into! Poor thing, probably starve to death before it got any takers.
Aww, and it wanted to play with Blaze. Well, she could share him, just a little. Wait, no, no, no, NO! Why had it tried to eat her snuggly, wuggly, doodly wuffins? Stupid, stupid, ugly, big worm, trying to eat her Blaze. If anyone was going to do that, it'd be her; no one else!
"He- hey, wait up!" She shouted, following in the wake of her aerial, stealth buddy. Clearing the group below, she stopped short, distancing herself from both tempest and the rest. Clicking over to combat mode in mid flight had cost her a hair's breadth.
The same breadth she took to observe the creature as her buster's prickly little needle glowed suggestively red. She finally had a reason to be chipper, arched wings ablaze in the chilly night sky. With loss only to the heat signature – and the deliciously enchanting noise of metal being super-heated – the question was: could it seen her, did it even care?

Rain's eyes widened as out of nowhere, SNAKE MECHANILOID! That was unexpected... but perhaps a deterrence force by Neo Arcadia. Who knew.
All Rain knew was that the snake was a threat, Blaze was acting like a moron, and Tempest was about to get hit. A kick off the ground and her dash systems kick into full gear, the cybernetically enhanced human launching at high speed at Tempest, tackling him out of the way for safety as sand launches heavily at their spot. Landing on the ground, Rain would reply with something cute or sarcastic, but this was clearly not the time for it. "Get with it, we're not out of the woods yet!" She calmly, yet forcefully echoes into the night to everyone, before standing up, bringing her beam daggers together in front of her with a SNAP! Both arms fling outward to her sides, as the shaft telescopes out to around five feet in length, before she snatches it out of midair, a blade tip at one end igniting. A rapid spin of it and she gets into stance.
Yeah, she's a melee fighter, so she really sees no other opportunity here. A kick off sand and she bursts at the snake, launching at it from its left flank before kicking off into the air, bringing her glaive around. The target? Various hydraulics and servos in its cheek, the aim to destroy the function of its jaw.

Rain's intervention had come at a most well planned time as the torrent of sand would have most certainly hit the ninja. But it didn't and as a result he was free to hop back into the air and cloak, now swapping weapons and wielding his sword.
"Let me try a science experiment..."
The sand blowing away in the wind would detail his path, headed for the upper back (or neck based on your view) of the creature. His intent to embed the weapon in it. While he made his way close he shot a small blip to Rain over her comm.
"Thanks."

Alter went flying as the sandworm burst up from benerath the surface of the earth, hitting the dune in a burst of flying silica that was overshadowed by the worm's own corona of loose sand. The hover drone followed him obediently, and came to a stop nearby as if to say Well, what now? Alter himself, knowing that this was a foe far beyond his power, clawed his way back to his hands and knees and clambered to the crest of the dune, of which he proceeded to slide down the other side. He peeked over the dune, taking a good, long look at the sandworm. With his technical knowledge, he should have been able to isolate some weak points - where were those damned jaw actuators?

From underneath Exiam a loud muffled grunt came, as a hand reached upwards. Genesis, who had the least luck, was teleported into the dune, instead of on it. He had activated his vibrational functions to shake his body loose and started to climb the sliding sand inside the dune. It turned out to be a pretty long climb, but with the sand sliding down, it could have just been a few inches. Whatever the case, he finally managed to get a hand out of the sand and a few moments later, Genesis appeared from the dune Exiam and the team where on.
"I hate teleporters" He grunted, as he turned of his vibrational device, causing him to releast the statically attached sand. Making him change from a monster covered in sand, to a monster.

Alan heard the grunt and blinked before looking down and seeing the sand monster slowly rise from the sand. His first impulse, (Which he listened to) was to kick it in the head as quickly as he could turn his entire body around and swing his foot at the creature's face, not realizing it was Genesis until it was too late.
