"Kill Zero? Hah, join the club..." Winter called with an incredulous chortle as her arms held the beam rifle steady, looking down at Spara as she got his attention. She focused well as two cross-crossing energy arcs flew at her, nimbly ducking out of the way with a mere adjustment of her thrust output. His outcry to her just seemed to amuse her. "I'm annoying? Calling me a fairy? Are you serious?"
With a blast of thrust, Winter was flung into the air upward as arcs sailed, missing the Mk. II as she sailed into a backward somersault arc, wide, slashes flying past her all the while. "EN Field!" she cried out, her rifle leveling as she began to dive at the ground, a semi-translucent, white orb forming around her body as her thrusters went into overdrive, shooting out energy to catch her fall... she really did look somewhat like a fairy.
Nearing the ground, she began to level out, shooting along the pavement with her amassed speed, flying at him FAST. C'mon, utilize my diversion, guys... she mused, beginning to spill out rifle shots at a ridiculous rate, all firing at Spara as she spun and swung and ducked around further shots coming at her...
...and never stopped, crashing into Spara hard provided he does not evade.

Max meanwhile chuckled. This girl's got fire. Something lacking in most as of late....wait what're tho-shit.
The bombs detonated, sending the human skidding a few feet thanks in part to Sokuren's aid, however in addition to his earlier injuries, the shock of the explosion shaking his body around wasn't helping. Dropping to a knee the human coughs up a bit more blood and rubs his eyes, trying to remove some burriness.
Haven't gotten into a fight like this since....nevermind. Gotta finish this guy up soon..
As Winter began her descent, Max ran a finger down the side of his wrench weapon, a glowing line trailing the digit as he does so. Upon reaching the bottom, the weapon splits, shattering the cement wrapped around the head, and energy fired from the barrels of the weapon when in gun form. Now in a constant stream, the human was now wielding twin beam sabers, long and curved like katana. As the hunter girl connected with her attack, Max fired off another two icy blasts to the ground under the anthro's feet, to make him slip. As he did so, Max would rush past him, slashing at the knee area of his legs, intending to damage them somewhat.
Power types like him need their legs to fight properly. Let's see how much punishment they can take.
Blaze meanwhile performed a final check of his systems, and nods, before re-donning his face mask and visor and creeping around the building he is hiding behind, heading away from the melee....

Spara continued switch between firing off energy beams for his blades and deflecting what laser shots he could before they could make impact. Fighting two high speed opponents at the same time was proving to be quite annoying, even more now that for some reason Sierra had stopped sending him reports on the enemies he couldn't see's movements.
The large anthro watched as Winter surrounded herself in the white orb and began her seemingly kamikaze style run at him. Talking a moment to fire off and deflect a few more rounds, Spara adjusted his stance to a more braised one. As she neared, he turned off his beams and retracted the poles as he lifted his arms out fully extended in front of him palms facing out.
Winter struck hard, hitting the dead center of Spara's palms she managed to push the massive anthro back several feet causing the pavement under his feet to crack and crumble as he slid. Despite this however, the anthro somehow managed not only to stay on his feet, but somehow he had managed to curl his fingers around and seemingly "catch" the ball of energy.
Lines of energy trailed down Spara's arms after the impact, though whether caused by damage or from extra energy being sent to them to help sustain the impact it was impossible to tell, and his hands sizzled loudly at the points where they held the energy ball in place.
"Nice try little girl," Spara barked, "but you'll have to try a lot harder than...."
He didn't get a chance to finish his sentence as the ground beneath his feet suddenly became slippery with ice. With a cry of surprise, the large anthro lost both his footing and his grip allowing the female reploid to slam into his chest with what was left of her inertia sending him falling even harder toward the ground.
As he fell, he saw the twin beams of Max's blades headed strait for one of his legs. Using what little movement control he had left, Spara twisted his body slightly preventing the blade from hitting it's intended target but still managing to cut twin groves down the back one of his legs.
Spara hit the ground hard creating a large body shaped outline into the ground and creating a shock wave heavy enough to collapse one of the nearby flaming buildings. Spara lay there stunned for a moment before he was back on his feet.
"Now even I've gatta admit that was a clever little use of team work there," Spara chuckled to the two. "And look, seems you even managed to scratch my armor after all. Not bad, maybe you're not quite as weak as I thought. Still I wonder how long your good luck will last."
Again the poles locked into place and the beams came alive. Taking a slightly more defensive stance, Spara decided this time to wait a few moments to see what else these opponents had up their sleeves.
~~~~~~~~~~
As Sokuren ducked through the halls attempting to avoid being scene, little did he realize he was already being hunted. Only the cracking of glass at the last second gave his attacker's presence away allowing him do duck just in time as the Chaser's razer sharp fingers slashed through the air where his head had been just moments before.
Unphazed, the FX hit the floor on all fours and quickly lept to forward to the ceiling changing the direction of it's joints as it did so allowing it's self to grab hold once the surface came near.
For a moment the FX just looked down at it's target. However that moment quickly passed as it's Joe arm transformed into a blaster and it began firing bolts of plasma at it's target as it jumped randomly from surface to surface.
~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile several floors up.
The door to the roof as Maya quickly made her way up. To the seemingly little girl's surprise there was already someone up there, a seemingly young woman wearing an odd bug-like helmet to be exact.
"Oh hello there," Sierra said kindly to the young girl. "This is an awfully dangerous place for such a young girl to be running around." Kneeling down to Maya's level Sierra reached out her hand kindly. "You should come over here, it'll be safer. So tell me what's your name? Where are your parents."
All the while subtle thoughts began drifting into Maya's mind. "She seems nice." I can trust here." "She seems lonely maybe I should help her out." Thoughts similar to these continued to drift into Maya's mind seemingly coming from Maya's own thoughts.

Max would blink. Once, Twice, Three times before palming his face in one of his hands.
"You have GOT to be the most arrogant, annoying guy i've ever met in the past few months. I'm personally not going to listen to you anymore, so let's just get on with it ok? I have a sudden sense of forboding and it's bothering me...eh?"
The "eh?" uttered by Max would be ilicited by Blaze, running behind Spara and using his gauntlets to squeeze more power from his now clasped hands, slamming them into the leg Max had damaged.
Blaze himself would be flashing his trademarked grin as of now.
"Couldn't leave without repaying you for earlier, right?"
Max would laugh and shrug in response.
"Then I suppose we're even now."
With that Max fires off another volley of icy rounds, meant more as a distraction to allow Blaze to move away in enough time from the now most likely pissed off anthro...
Meanwhile Max would turn his gaze to the Hunter girl...she was cute, but there would be time to act like a guy later.
"How much did that attack cost you? Feel like another team-up trick?"

"Aaah!" Sokuren would yell as he dived for cover, getting hit by several plasma bolts in the process.
"All right, no more mister nice mechanic." Sokuren says to no one in particular as he takes out yet another device, twisting a few knobs on it, then throwing the device up into the air, where it releases a EMP pulse. The pulse isn't strong enough to deactivate a reploid, but it is strong enough scramble any communication signals, as well as stun anyone who is not prepared for it. However, it also lights up the building like a Christmas tree to anyone with decent sensors.
Running over to the stunned FX unit, Sokuren jumps on it's back and activates the magnetic clamps in his feet, locking him onto it. He then starts systematically disassembling the Chaser, throwing each component over his shoulder as he removes it, working towards the main computer core, muttering to himself as he does so.
"All I wanted was some salvage, just enough to afford another month's worth of energy cells, or maybe an upgrade or two. but no, i get caught up in a firefight caused by a case of mistaken identity! Then someone who looks like he could rip me in half with one bloody finger is out for my head! Then right as i think i can get away with the one of the only people who HAVEN'T shot at me today, I get sucked back into the whole debacle! Then out of nowhere YOU start trying to take my head off as well!"

The downed Chaser made odd screeching sounds as it's internal components were ripped out and thrown away. Thrashing blindly, it tried unsuccessfully to throw it's attacker off. In one last attempt, it lifted it's leg bending it's leg joint and thrashed wildly. One toe managed to catch it's intended cutting a long line strait up Sokuren's back before the unit collapsed to the floor falling silent.

Sokuren looks down at the defeated drone, with a 'what the hell did i just do?' expression on his face. He is shocked out of his stunned state by the beeping coming from his HUD, showing that he was leaking fluids. Stepping off the Chaser, he walks over to the pile of parts he had ripped out of it, and using them starts to repair what he can reach of the injury on his back.

Maya was confronted by a foe of suspect duplicity, equal to or greater than her own. She was so kind and gentle, offering to comfort her, to give her relief. In her brief life of experiences, most everyone she had come across inevitably came to seek possession of her, to take away her fairies; or both. This person before her was special, somehow. Maya couldn't quite figure out why, but was certain of it nonetheless.
"Maya, that which is not, an illusion, a dream; that which clouds the truth and can bring only one thing, death. That was the name given to me, not by my parents, but by my creators. I don't... have any parents." Maya responded, being unnaturally upfront. A flash then came from below, but to little perceivable visual effect of those on the roof. The implications of it were another story, where for one brief moment of clarity, a tiny voice again reached Maya's mind. Maya! Maya! MAYA!
"What's wrong? Sierra coined, the most caring of expressions on her face. "Nothing, it just got really loud... There, it's quiet again." Maya smiled. "It's safer over here." Sierra opinioned again. Maya was drawn towards this woman in such a way that all rational capacity would have screamed aloud that something was wrong, something amiss. But all rational capacity had left her. Maya moved towards her, her weapons checked and returned. They were no longer necessary...
Elsewhere, Yuki severed her bond with Sokuren, reappearing in physical form less than a foot away from him. She was not of the kind that expired after one use it seemed, a rare and unusual breed. Her wings were short and stubbly, a fraction of their full form. She fell just a short distance to the floor, plopping down with a clank similar to the sound of a large stone being dropped. Yuki was then quickly on her back huffing and puffing, like a pooped werewolf after his rather unsuccessful run-in with the brick house. Her wings were entirely gone by that point, an unnecessary expenditure of energy.
"I'm sorry, I'm spent." She managed to get out between breathes. There was no actual function served by her haggard breath. It was merely an aesthetical choice by her creator. Her energy reserve would recover in time, but not nearly fast enough to be of much further practical use. She would regain the ability to fly at least, by the time Sokren was ready to proceed, and would dutifully follow him. "Really though, I didn't know you had it in you."
Much higher, another tiny figure observed the situation. Her presence had remained unknown for; in her mind at least, a very simple and miserable reason. No one ever looked up anymore, at least not really. Sure, they glanced up on occasion as a thought popped into their mind. "Oh, it's raining, what rotten luck". Or, "Oh, it's raining hot beams of conductive plasma, what rotten luck". But the wonder, the twinkling majesty of the sky and the stars; was dead to this world. Or so, to her, it seemed.
On a more technical note, the very barest of non-reflective armor, a stable and subdued energy signature, and a tiny form may have contributed more significantly. Being some thousands of feet high in the sky resting upon the very clouds themselves, may have been incidental as well. Whatever the case may have been, Ashni had been waiting, and watching the whole while, maintaining an air of feigned indifference.

"Neither did I, to be honest. Here, you look like you need it."
Sokuren had managed to patch up most of the serious damage, but he knew that his chassis couldn't take much more abuse before needing major repairs. At this point he had taken out a subtank and was replenishing his energy stores, and seeing how low Yuki was on energy, he had passed another one to the cyber elf. Afterward he walked over to the downed FX and started refilling the one he had used from it's energy core.

"Just shut up. You're in no position to talk."
Sailing into the air yet again before slowly dropping down before Spara and Max, Winter's barrier seems to have dropped as she gives a chuckle, panting just faintly as she eventually drops to the ground with a cessation of her thrust. "I've survived seven years against idiots like you who roll in with their big and bad armors, running their mouth. You're about par for the course." Turning to Max as he spoke to her, she just gives him a nod, before kicking forth immediately without a moment's hesitation, running to Spara as her boots begin to light up with thrust, keeping her a couple of inches off the ground as her back thrusters lit faintly. Winding sideways into a strafe, a lever is pulled on her rifle, as two objects... mirrors dispense, holding their own thrust.
Winter herself simply throws her strafe into an arc around Spara.

LOT of fire. And she looks unlike any seven year old that I....no, bad Max. No thinking bad thoughts while fighting. Besides you dated a girl like her once...didn't end well. However I DO like her idea of an air assualt so...
"Going up!"
Activating.....
Kicking on another system within this armor, makes Max wobble, but lift off the ground, with no whooshing, or dust kicking up. A signal of anti grav tech as the human lifts high into the air, blades in each hand. He runs towards the building that everyone's currently in and runs up the wall, moving with so much grace, you'd think it was a natural thing to do.
I'll come down hard, and use the Fa...what!?
The shocked thought was generated by two simultainious sights. First a far off, but still barely visible tiny object, shining ever so slightly, due to the little one's wingbeats. Another fairy? If so why wasn't she helping? If not Winter then the girl?
That thought's formation occured at the exact moment when Max passed the window of the floor that Sierra and Maya were on. His gaze briefly turned to eye the two, the girl now walking towards a....well it LOOKED like a she but that helmet kinda complicated any proper ID at this distance....
The kid's eyes look....!!!
Glassy. His kind argued if reploids could be considered "alive" by traditional human standards as they could be manufactured. Max himself had never given it a thought. Reploids had unique personallties like humans. They could think and feel as well as act for themselves...
To him there was no difference. Be you made of skin and bone or metal and synth-flesh you were alive and capable of thought and action. Maya's eyes lacked the look of someone acting on their own so Max would quickly turn to Winter and say the following:
"I'll be right back! Hold off on that!"
Before undergoing an action that he would most likely regret later thanks to the rest of his injuries. He fired a icy blast at the window, flash freezing it and proceeded to stomp through it, diving past the woman and tackling Maya to the ground to avoid getting her injured by this woman, along with shards of icy glass that even now soared overhead some passing the woman, some heading her way. Meanwhile Max would hesitate a little before doing the only thing he could think of to "awaken" the girl, he slapped her as hard as he could before turning to the bug woman and taking a fighting stance.
"CEASE RAPING HER MIND YOU....BUG LADY! THIS GIRL'S MY..."
Was it right to call her a friend? Max had not only JUST met her, he still didn't know her name. Plus he had no idea what if anything she thought of him.
Doesn't matter. As Uncle Scott said: An enemy of your enemy is your friend.
"MY FRIEND AND IF YOU TRY TO HURT HER, YOU'LL NEED TO GO THROUGH ME TO DO IT! SO BACK OFF CRICKET HEAD!"
Was it as threatening as the human would have liked? No. But when you're pressed for time, you work with what you're given.
"Kid, Wake up! You're supposed to be superior to me! Are you going to let this...this....THIS stop you? Help me, help you!"

"Good to meet you, Maya," Sierra said kindly a she took the reploid's hand. "There you go, it's safe here with me, not like with those nasty men trying to hurt you now is it."
The soothing lulls continued in the back of Maya's mind only this time something else began to happen as well. Maya's memories began to twist and warp as the as new memories attempted to take their place.
Maya saw herself running through the streets terrified as a reploid in red armor and a human wielding a large wrench trying to take her, trying to take her friends. As she rounded a corner she came across another foe, a woman with wings and a rifle, who fired shots at her legs attempting to immobilize her. Desperately Maya, broke through the nearby wall only to find yet another scavenger hiding in wait. This one reached out grabbing and steeling one of her fairy friends somehow using his abilities to turn this little one against her and forcing it to fuse with him.
She found herself pressed up against a building as the four neared her. The entire city was a blaze from the destruction these people caused in their attempts to capture her. Fearing no hope of escape, help suddenly arrived. A massive spartan anthro appeared taking on these would be harmers, putting his own life on the line to protect her.
Fearing for her life and those of her friends, Maya slipped down a side street wanting to help but unsure what to do. That was when she was grabbed from behind by the scavenger reploid once more. This time he somehow managed to snatch one of her weapons away from her. Again running Maya made her way upstairs and suddenly found herself here.
Sierra frowned beneath her helmet, she could since something there. Some sort of protective barrier or perhaps another mind of some sort. For a moment she contemplated increasing the output of the control and attempting to manipulate that mind as well, but decided against it. Increasing the output too high might make the target aware that they were being manipulated, and thus she would resist. For now she'd continue to manipulate slowly hoping to over come this other mind. These new memories and feelings would only be temporary once the beam ended unless exposed to them for several days, however they should last long enough for her to turn her attention to that mind and manipulate it as well.
Sierra jumped back with a startled yelp as Max burst through the window surprising her due to the fact her attention had been fully on the young girl for the moment.
As Max spoke from atop the girl Sierra saw this as a chance to draw the girl deeper into the illusion. Again using her device she manipulated the way Maya herd the words that Max spoke.
"I HAVE A MIND TO RAPE YOU BUG LADY AND THIS GIRL. MY FRIENDS AND I WILL HURT HER AND YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME TO STOP IT CRICKET HEAD. Wake up kid, you think your superior. I'm here to stop you."
That complete Sierra reached over grabbing a nearby broom stick and began swatting Max with it while yelling, "Get away from her you monster."
As she did this she attempted to added yet another emotion to the back of Maya's mind, an emtion of growing anger toward those who would cause her harm.

Yuki examined the curious device. Her eyes seemed to brighten at such a sight, widening to their fullest extent. They do exist! She made a mental note to bring up the proof of existence to a certain air-headed eccentric at her earliest convenience. "No good though, wrong kind of energy. We run on the 'W' stuff, always have, always will."
She continued, the wavering in her breath having mostly subsided. "Design specifications further prohibit the use of outside energy sources that have not been properly certified, as their use may void our warranty." She teased him, at least mostly. It simply was not a good idea to mess with the internal balance of her systems in any way, especially when there were so few with the experience and knowhow to fix any problems that might arise.
"It's a gracious offering though, but I'll be fine. Maya might be able to use it though." Yuki offered in suggestion, trying to be both grateful and helpful as well. She stood up in preparation of moving on, doing a short series of stretches to ensure she was in good working order.
Maya fell to her knees, her mind a jumbled mess of thoughts that were both her own and yet were not. Too many things were happening, happening quickly, too quickly to keep up with them all. Yet one particular detail was quite clear, the sensation of pain upon her cheek. The imprint of Max's hand was visible upon it, the flesh having reddened in response as if it were the real deal. It was now, the clearest and most honest sensation she felt. And it stung, incessantly.
"Leave... us... alone!" She leveled towards Max, her rationale failing under continuous duress.
He had attacked her; he had threatened her, and now his eyes. His damned eyes were looking, looking at her. He wanted her; he wanted everything she had, all of it. Each and every part of it! A crushing sense of powerlessness washed over her, as memories flooded her mind. Distant memories of her past, powerful and vivid ones played in her mind's eye. One in particular was quite familiar to the scene before her, in which she had watched her benefactor murdered before her. He was murdered by careless inaction of her part. A mistake, she had sworn never to make twice!
Leave... him... alone! She roared, standing once again upon her own two feet. Him, she had clearly said 'him', not 'her', a comforting fact to Max.
At least... it would have been, had her sights not clearly been set upon him. Her blade returned to her hand, flaring brilliantly to life despite lacking any apparent activation switch. It reached out to a sheer length that matched its extended handle. A fine and powerful blade that was a fearsome enough sight before it erupted in flame. It boiled over; heat radiating off it as it were a molten mass of energy. She gripped it firmly in both hands, and charged, straight at Max. She held it to her right side, in a form indicative of a straight sweeping strike from right to left.

Sokuren was waiting for Yuki to finish charging enough, and was passing the time by getting every useful part he could out of the FX when he detected weapon activity a few floors above him.
"Why am I not surprised? Looks like she's in trouble."
Running up the stairs as silently as possible, Sokuren stops as he hears Maya yell, and quietly moves to wall next to the door, and quickly peeks into the room. Seeing Maya attacking Max, and spotting Seirra and her strange looking helmet. Retreating several feet away from the door, Sokuren pulls out a round object, about the size of a softball. Then adopting a posture that looks like he's listening to something, he starts pressing buttons on the sphere.

The human would not sigh, but instead would shake his head, as the bug lady hit him with the broom. He had a abundance of paitence but this was stretching it thin. Then came Sokuren, though it was so quick he doubted the bug woman had seen him. Holding a hand up in his direction as if to say "wait" to him he would turn to Sierra, evidencing how annoyed he was by the cold tone he addresses the broom wielder in.
"I see your skill with mind control is top notch bug girl. But I reckon it takes a certain proximity to work along with a degree of focus. Otherwise you'd be raping my mind also..."
His anti grav system still active, Max would leap over Maya's charge, not intending to attack her at all, even if it may cost him his life. As the girl turned and would continue to swing, Max would rarely break his gaze from this....woman. And if looks could kill, the one he gave her would have done it ten times over right now.
"I saw that barrier of yours. You assume I can't hurt you and perhaps you're right....WIND DOWN."
Winding down...
The chrono system flared into life again, allowing Max to dodge a saber slash that might have just cut him in half. Knowing that Maya could not keep up with him now, he would turn his attention to Sierra. Even if that weird helmet could allow her to see what he was doing, he doubted she could move in time to stop him. He would begin by running in a circle around the bug woman, firing icy shots at the floor around her, freezing it, as well as doing the same for the celing directly above her. He also fires three shots at her feet, effectively locking her in place where she stands...
Nodding Max flares his weapons into life and begins cutting the icy area of the floor around her, smirking as he notes what is about to happen. Upon doing so the entire segment of floor under the Arc Angel would slowly begin to fall, Max now leaping up and cutting the celing, after which it also begins to fall. Lastly Maya could not control herself right now and Max felt guilty enough hitting her the first time.
"Gotta stop her. I think I know how."
Just as both segments fully seperate from their home areas, Max would dodge one last saber slash, and knock the weapon out of the girl's hand, freezing her feet to the ground and gripping her in a hug that would lock her arms in place.
"....Let's see your barrier avoid THIS, bitch. Wind Over."
Winding Time OVER.
And just like that time would restore itself, and Sierra would be falling down, with a segment of celing dropping right above her.
Messing with a kid. She's getting what she deserves.
Max meanwhile would begin to breath heavily. Both his injuries and the manipulation of time were taking a toll on his body... The blurriness would return, stronger than before. And now to top if off his legs would feel as if they were wobbling under him. Grinning again, though WHY would be anyone's guess, the human would try one last time to reach this girl.
"K-kid. I know you're probably still under h-her spell....And if i'm your biggest threat then take me down. Just do whatever will make you s...s..afe....same go...oes for a-any elves....in ya. If....you think...I mean you harm....get....rid...of me. But....if...you can hear me...in there....I know...you can fight....her."
His grip on the girl would begin to weaken, potentially allowing her to wriggle free....Meanwhile Max would call out to Sokuren.
"Guy....d-don't hurt her. She's...not....herself...no matter what...don't attack her."
It was too tiring to stand anymore. Max would drop to his knees, still holding Maya close. Then he remembered hearing that Bug Woman say a name just before he entered the window. He hoped it was the right one....
"Y...you have a nice a-and gentle name....Maya."
