RYS is total slaughter and sidequest material...
And while Cavalry is also for combat he lacks RYS soul stomping superpowers.

Rain is designed to be balanced. She can be charismatic, combatative, stealthy, and hopefully at some point, supportive, but she doesn't specialize in any single one.

Alan's meant to be quick and stealthy, so he mainly specializes in that :3

Alter will make things for you, hack computer networks on behalf of the higher-ups, and maybe even patch you up if you're a Reploid and you stagger into his workshop with a mortal wound or something, but don't expect him to do much else.

So, so tempted to vote charisma, but removing pants is unfortunately not a forte compared to burning them off. Stealth also doesn't quite apply since anyone who has read her sheet probably noted that her thermal stealth notably sucks. Support, she just barely has enough on the repair end, and just enough on the hacking end to step up when a non-dedicated hacker type is not nearby. Combat, hardly qualifies there either, excepting fire opponents, or those she can infiltrate and rip apart from the inside-out.
She's honestly doesn't fit into any archetype I can think of, except maybe a bard or other jack-of-all trades type character. That's probably half the reason I enjoy playing her so much, never know what she's going to do next... unless burning is an option, then you pretty much know what she's going to do next.

Burning is always an option, it may not always be the best option, but it's always an option :3

Not "always" an option. Not against Firemen. They kick fires ass. With skin peeling hoses.

For now? Stealth. But I have some plans going that will allow Tempest to do many things.
Giltia does RYS have an...active strain of the Mav Virus? *evil grin*

Damn. Hmm, well i'll think up something.
And you know what's really sad? Fallout's technicallly the good guy in the RYS/Fallout fight, yet i'm still rooting for RYS. Go figure.

Good to know someone is making plans for RYS.
And just for the record, there doesn't have to be a goodguy. Badguys beat the tar out of each other all the time.
Although Fallout is more of an anti-hero it seems.
Meaning if he wins, he's going to kill RYS. Horribly. Because that's what makes anti-heroes better than heroes. Murder. FOR EXAMPLE!!!
Spiderman: I have defeated you Doctor Octopus! Now I'm going to send you to jail where you will eventually break out, or be broken out, to continue your villainous rampage. I'll swing in, beat you up, and the cycle will continue.
*Meanwhile, Venom is off in a bloody corner, where he's currently trying to swallow the Green Goblins jugular between fits of hysterical laughter.*
See? Venoms method is long lasting. Permanent. Wait... nevermind. I just remembered, time travel in the Marvel universe is far easier than jailbreaks.
Well... his method is at least more awesome.
