Discretion is the better part of valor and all that. and i do have an explanation for Sokuren's doppelganger, though you might have to catch it before i tell

I'm beginning to think Maya is a tremendously disagreeable person when it comes to following someone else's plans. Call it a hunch. I tried to leave the greatest amount of freedom of action to Sokuren as I could, so he could conceivably do just about anything. Blaze, I think he was referring to the 'other' other Sokuren than fired upon Spara and then turned tail to run. The plan, I would assume, to goad Spara into attacking the fleeing, defenseless 'fake' Sokruen while the two retreated. At least that's what I'm under the impression of. There're really too many Sokurens to keep track of. Also, a bonus blooper reel post I whipped up while trying to think of ways I could possibly misconstrue what Sokuren had only mouthed in silence. It's a bit rough and totally off the kilter though: Lee-roy, Maya read of the patterned movements of the mouth. Ah, the infamous Leeroy Jenkins strategy, alright. She nodded in overstated affirmation at the plan he had laid out. She then burst out the entrance and lit the Spartan warrior up like a decorative Christmas tree, pelting him with a cannonade of heated plasma while screaming out "Leeroooooooy Jeeeenkins" at the top of her lungs. Maya seemed pleased with the results as the marauding beast of a man now had his attention thoroughly trained on her. She looked behind her at the horrified non-combat reploid, and gave him a magnificent grin while she paraded the 'thumbs up' sign back at him. Then, just for good measure, she gave the other Sokruen a thumbs up as well, not wanting him to feel left out. She wasn't quite sure why there was two of him, or even what part two of the plan was. It apparently involved running straight back towards the real Sokuren though, which she did in haste, bringing a very tall, very angry anthro in her wake.

Um Blaze all Max did was SCAN Sokuren so that he could transform later, he still looks like himself.
And fine, not scratching your armor? Right then.

Um Blaze all Max did was SCAN Sokuren so that he could transform later, he still looks like himself. And fine, not scratching your armor? Right then. Oh sorry I thought he actually transformed into him. As for the armor scratch thing, he was trying to be cocky. The hit hurt more than he let on, but he wanted everyone to think it hadn't. Hence, making appear even more powerful and instilling fear into the enemy, aka psychological warfare. I would have posted that info as well but I didn't want characters to instantly and miraculously know he was lying and therefor not be intimidated any what so ever. Plus the way I see it, a boss level character is one of the few NPCs that's more powerful than a PC. In my mind at least, it takes at least three on one to even hope to have a chance against one. Heck look at the megaman games, even X and Zero have tough times against boss level characters. You guys actully aren't doing too bad against him so far, much better than if you had chosen the "Leeroy Jenkins strategy" at least . I'll edit my post a little to account for that, just a quick question first. Should I still have the FX drop the bombs next to Max or should he take his time and keep looking for the real Sokuren ;D. edit: By the way I like your last post it actully countered a couple of things I had in mind for Spara to do against Winter .

I so WANT to use the Leroy strategy. (which reminds me kehaul thank you for making my day with your above post ) However it will not work against a foe this powerful. Now when they're not and Max is hugely outnumbered? Oh HELL yes. And thanks Blaze I'm trying to get back into writing again. Have had some issues as of late. Edit: Drop 'em near Max! DROP 'EM NEAR MAX!!! And forgot the bombs. Corrected.

Lol, Max is just having one hell of a bad day isn't he XD. BTW since you're running Blaze at the moment I thought I might want to remind you he does also have the Red Phoenix, Medibay, and Darklight armors (though I had in mind that at this point the flight abilities of the Red Phoenix are still a bit glitchy ;D). I'm not sure what you have in mind (though running away might not be too far of a stretch for him ), but he could always use the medibay armor to heal people who are getting too wounded.

Oh he's not running...."away". > And I reckon if nothing else major happens, Max'll have a concussion and some slight internal bleeding after all this. Max: *cough* Nothing some sleep and asprin can't fix.

Meh we'll just have to wait and see. I have a few things in mind that might start tipping things one way or another, and I have one thing in mind that'll probably make everyone involve go "Oh F*** we're screwed". There's another post I wanna make about something happening else where at the moment but I've already writin' enough for now so I'll hold off. It won't effect anything happening now, it's just storyline info mainly, so feel free to pust away. p.s. Glad to see more people showing up. Hopefully we can get some more to join in and we can keep this one going for a while .

God Spara's a cocky one. ...I like him. Though by this point Max does not. Out of either the lack of honor or tiredness, you pick.

*slowly edges away from Sokuren*
Um..y'know I think I just heard Spara say something insulting about your creator... *evil grin*
I agree kids. Never push a guy that can off you with a screwdriver, too far.
And hooray! Blaze to the rescue!
Blaze: Rumor when I go back to my rightful hands, i'm making sure to kill you for putting me in such a dangerous position!
